Nice to Meet You!
Hello! I’m a Graphic Designer currently living in Southern Arizona. I’m originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and moved to Tucson in 2015 (I think that officially makes me a local). The Sonoran desert has been an amazing inspiration and I have found a wealth of opportunities out here. I never dreamed I’d be working on some amazing projects with the likes of the FVEYS, NASA, University of Arizona, and Tucson Botanical Gardens. You never know where life will take you next, but I’m grateful it brought me out to Arizona.
I graduated with my BFA from the University of New Mexico and stumbled into graphic design when I was asked to make a logo for a telescope at the University of Arizona. I took on the challenge of making my very first logo and found that “spark” that I never felt before. This was something I wanted to do with my life. From there my journey continued and I began seeing my artwork on stickers, shirts, hats, mugs, posters, and international conventions, and I wish I could put into words how AMAZING that feels. I pick up every publication the Tucson Botanical Gardens advertises in and the ads I’ve created, then brag to my husband that “I made that!”. Being self-taught comes with facing new challenges and tasks for every project, but that’s my favorite part, solving the puzzles and creating something beautiful.
